ESL

Ashbury College has a variety of ESL (English as a Second Language) training this summer. Whether you are new to the language or look to improve for further English studies we have a program for you. Intensive academic training for credit or a fun introduction to the English language can be enjoyed in Canada’s capital on our beautiful 13 acre campus. Our ESL programs include lodging, meals, academics and weekend programming. These programs are for students ages 14 to 18.

Classes start Monday, June 25th, 2012 and run through Saturday, July 14th, 2012

As such we will be ready to accept students as early as Saturday, June 23rd and students will be expected to depart the campus on Sunday, July 15th.

• There will be 24-hour supervision by Ashbury College staff
• Visa Requirements vary; please check with the Canadian Consulate in your country to determine if one is necessary
• Each student will be required to bring proof of health insurance coverage for their stay at Ashbury College
• Optional Airport pickup and drop off available for a fee of $160

ESLACA - Academic: English as a Second Language

Monday June 25, 2012 - Saturday July 14, 2012

Price: $1,200.00

 This course helps students to expand their reading and writing skills and their ability to use the English language to analyse the changing world around them. Students improve their language proficiency through a variety of practical reading and writing tasks, short, guided research projects, classroom discussions and oral presentations. This is an intensive three week course that  prepares students for further study of the English language and studies in English.

Students that successfully complete this course will be granted the ESLAO credit as per the Ontario Ministry of Education.
