NEW in 2018!

Summer 2018 Credit Courses:
Our summer school offers a menu of 10+ courses, at all grade levels. Ever popular offerings of Grade 9 Canadian Geography (in English or French), Grade 10 Career Studies & Civics (in English or French), Grade 11 Biology, Functions, Law & Physics AND Grade 12 Advanced Functions & Physics are returning. Our goal is to help motivated Senior School students effectively balance their Secondary School experience. Check out all the possibilities.
Summer 2018 presents an opportunity for students to reach ahead, explore new areas of study, build new skills and have fun.  It gives students a chance to build flexibility into their regular course of study and reduce pressure during the school year. Small class sizes combined with skilled, enthusiastic teaching faculty help ensure a positive learning experience.
Summer school courses will run from June 25 to July 18, 2018 with classes from 8:30 am to 4:00 pm daily. Lunch is included in the tuition. As a full credit course is being delivered in only 17 days of instruction, a top priority must be given to full attendance and homework. Students absent for more than 2 days (for any reason) may be asked to withdraw. No arrangements should be made that interfere with class time.
Compulsory Final Exams for all credit courses (except Civics & Career Studies) will be written on July 18, 2018.

Summer 2018 Academic Preparation Workshops:
These non-credit offerings are focused on skill building.  Our engaging IB Prep course runs in August 2018.  Please see the page offering for more details.  Other Academic Preparation courses include Study & Organizational Skills, Sharpen your Reading Skills & a variety of Writing Workshops.
Summer 2018 Camps:
There will be a variety of summer camps offered June-July 2018.  Art, Tech & Tools, Claymation and Experience Ottawa are returning along with a new Multisport Camp offering. Stay tuned for more information about our Partner Camps including Maker Kids and Mission Control Camps.
Summer 2018 Boarding:
Boarding is available for students enrolled in Summer School Credit Courses and the IB Prep Workshop. While a minimum number of students will be required for the boarding program to run, we fully expect to reach that number. All boarders will live in an Ashbury Residence under the supervision of a Resident Teacher. Boarding students will be provided with 3 meals a day and secure high-speed internet access. Boarders will be welcomed from 4:00 pm the Sunday afternoon before their course begins and are asked to depart by 6:00 pm on the day their class ends.  Boarding will not be provided on Saturday, June 16, 2018.
There will not be any classes or camps running on July 2, 2018.
Ashbury College reserves the right to cancel or change course offerings. If a course is full, parents will be contacted and be given the choice to place their student on a waiting list.
